I’ve been a Masters rower with the Orlando Area Rowing Society 
for 16 years and I feel blessed to live where I can row all year long. I’m a 
water-color-painter-wanna-be so one of my favorite apps is Paper. A fervent lover of poetry, 
good friends, and great conversations,
I wholehearted believe in the therapeutic properties of chocolate! 
Never being one to accept negative interactions between people as simply part of the status quo,
I went back to school to study for Career #2. 
Now I help women learn how to keep talking in stressful conversations while maintaining their self-respect and compassion.
Professional Bio:
A psychologist with a Masters degree in education and a PhD in conflict management studies, I’ve been active in the professional conflict resolution community for 13 years as a researcher, practitioner, and educator.
In addition to maintaining my private conflict communication coaching practice, I’ve conducted workshops, breakout sessions, and seminars on clear one-on-one communication skills for successful conflict management in both professional and faith-based contexts, and am an experienced national conference presenter and speaker on this topic.
Coming from a helping profession background, I’m also a veteran volunteer coach and instructor with various Orlando community non-profits, and have piloted a local conflict communication program with recovering trafficked women.
