Are you a Life Coach?

No, I specifically focus on conflict communication, not general life topics.

Does that mean you’re a mediator?

No, I empower my clients to tackle problematic relational situations themselves. My coaching equips you to successfully communicate when you’re having trouble doing that on your own or you don’t know how to face a difficult conversation.

If I work with you during my wedding planning is this the same as couples counseling?

No, coaching isn’t counseling, and it’s not therapy. It’s practical help for a specific situation currently in your life that you would like to change. Our working together has a beginning and an end.

Who do you work with?

As far as wedding planning goes, I offer my help to anyone involved in the planning process: couples, family members, wedding pros, etc

I also work with women who are in leadership roles in professions and Christian ministry.

How do you determine your fees?

In your initial complimentary session with me, we discover how I can help you and the specific coaching you want, then we establish your coaching structure and decide the fee accordingly. Packages start at $500 and $800.

Why do you have all these pictures of a mountain on your web site, they don’t seem to go with what you do?

The pictures are of Mt. Hood, located in the Cascade Mountain Range. Local legend says the Native American name given for this mountain was translated “Stormbreaker” because when powerful storms rolled in from the Pacific and hit its huge 11, 240-ft landmass, they ruptured into smaller, weaker ones.

I use Mt Hood for my images because I want to encourage my clients that they don’t have to live a life of hurtful conflict, that powerfully standing for who they are is all they need to face their storms.
